Etihad Stadium surface to come under fire again

The surface at Etihad stadium should again come under fire as the surface again was below par. The venue hosted AC/DCs Melbourne leg of their Australian tour and has taken a beating because of it. Tonight the Victory played Sydney FC on the ground and patches of the ground near the pockets of the Coventry End, and patches in various other places has made the venue look very bad.
The condition of the venue should not effect any games there at the ground, just makes the venue look horrible and just makes the ground less likely to be suitable for AFL games at the venue. The last time the venue looked this bad was back in January after the New Year was rung in with a party there and the party left the ground so bad that A-League referees were considering calling off the game at the venue, in the end the game went ahead and all was forgotten.
As far as the A-League goes the venue's hosting of other forms of entertainment will not be a problem next season with the Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart both moving to the brand new rectangle venue. The AFL however may need to look at moving games from this venue should there be any more concerts that are going to leave the ground looking as bad as it did tonight.
The surface could become dangerous for the players and playing games just after a concert like this does not really do Etihad Stadium much justice in the end, even thought the surface has and will always you would think come under fire because of the situation with the roof of the stadium.
It might be time that there is another AFL stadium opened in Victoria one that can be a replacement of Etihad because I have never been a fan of the venue and watching games with a terrible surface like it seems to have most of the time has got to be addressed sooner, rather than later.
I've never been a fan of Etihad Stadium and even though there were reasons beyond their control, what about the times that they have had the chance to make the surface better but they have failed? But I do not think the ground should have hosted the concert, or any concert if there are games to be played on there. They should remove the grass when there is no football on and put the ground back once it is over. I remember this was done for the WWE Global Warning Tour back in 2002.
But the AFL should also consider a new venue should the surface be not upto a certain standard, it's only fair right? You would not want to see someone possibly injure themselves on a grounds surface that is not good enough to host games. This is just my view but I am sure the ground will again be blasted by the FFA or the AFL or someone along the way because that ground looked awful
Will still look that way for the St. Kilda/Collingwood game too I'd imagine.
