Sheedy back at Windy Hill
May 16th 2008 05:44
Kevin Sheedy has returned to Windy Hill for the first time since coaching his former team, Essendon.
On Wednesday, Sheedy was made Essendons 40,000th member which celebrated the clubs landmark membership numbers.
Sheedy is already a life time member of the club, however said he was honoured to receive the membership.
After receiving the membership, Sheedy remained adamant there was no bitterness following his sacking at the end of season 2007.
“There’s never been sour grapes,” he said.
"When you're a life member, you're a life member. And when you're a life member you'll always be back at the club."
